Ok.. so I promotoed ArtsCow.com and their 1200 Free Prints the other day.. I am very happy to say that YES I did place an order and I have received my order and I am very HAPPY with everything I ordered.

The photo book is wonderful, all my parents love it (as it is a Girl Scout Troop photo book from September to Now) and want to order one and all of the girls in my Troop love it as well.

I ordered buttons as well and they came out wonderful.. The photos I ordered are fine as well. They do feel a little thinner than I am use to but the quality is comprable to Shutterfly which I have been using for 4 years.. I will try and show the difference between a Shutterfly print and an ArtsCow print as well as the difference in Photobooks...

Valentines

Here are some Valentine Sucker Cards that I made for my daughters class.. Where the 2 lines are we used a paper punch and punch out holes so we could weave the sucker stick through the 2 holes. {I am not sure who to credit the graphics as I made these several years ago from either shared graphics or PC Crafter graphics... and just reprinted them for my daughters class.}

A Polka Dotted Gift..

I decided to make these little clips for my daughter. They are just plain silver hair clips and to dress them up I added some ribbon. I am going to do more later but I started with this set, it will match her polka dot dress that she has.

Feeling Better

4 LOOOOONNNNGGG days of being sick.. How terrible it was. I lost my Mojo and have to find a way to get it back. I am going to be MIA for about 4 days because of Girl Scout Conference..Yeah!

Well wouldn't you know that after being sick and not checking my emails I check my email on the 11th and find that $870.00 has been authorized from Paypal and they have frozen my account because of suspicious activities..

Needless to say I did not authorize the 3 transactions totaling 870, I have had to change passwords and as soon as I am able to get back into my account and change things with paypal I will do that as well. They investigated the charges on their own, but to be safe I also filed a dispute for the charges with paypal. Then off to the bank I went the other day to report fraud on my account and to have the charges stopped. Unfortunately they had already processed through my account but by filing the claim I could be credited and while the research these transactions and clear me I will be fine, but if they credit me and find that it is an accurate charge (which it is not) then they will debit the account again.

So I am a little peeved at Paypal, now I can not use my paypal account which I have become reliant on as are soo many businesses/websites.. I was really looking forward to purchasing some things off of etsy that I have had my eye on for a while.. Darn it!

Being Published!

I received the most wonderful news today! I am having not one but 2 cards published in Scrapbook News & Review.. I am so excited, this put a happy note on my sick day..

I have recently been trying out for Design Teams and sending my work in to Publication calls, although I have not been chosen for a Design Team I am elated to be Published.. I am just going to work more diligently and improve my style and card making process and continue applying.

Sorry about the non creations post.. It would seem that there is a bug in this house. First my daughter then for 3 days my Husband now me.. My temperature is 101 (but I feel like i am on fire, ughhh) and I have this terrible chest cough.. I am going to crawl in bed and sleep for 3 days, that is how horrible I feel. I just hope we get rid of this and it does not become a round robin of continually getting each other sick.
