Studio J

I am very excited about a new product from Close to my Heart called Studio J coming in March. (still in beta and being tested by consultants for now.) It is a completely digital studio where you can upload photos and create CTMH layouts with easy to use templates and current paper pack designs. You can order the 12x12 layouts; in which case they are printed on high quality archival paper and sent directly to you, OR you can just play around to see what you like before hand making it yourself. The layouts are made with the CTMH paper kits you already know and love, and may even have in your craft room right now. The colors are supposed to be very close to a perfect match. So, you can do it all digital, or use your physical kits/items to do 3D embellishing on your printed layouts (yes, this is a special paper that is high quality for photos but also like a cardstock so you can punch it, cut it, and alter it if you want).


Studio J includes embellishments such as stickease, ribbons, buttons and other matching items for each kit. You can change the colors and even re-size the embellishments!

Layouts will be saved on your account for 90 days before being deleted. You can use it as a creative tool to help you with layouts and design (like Jeanette's books) or you can go ahead and order them. But the beauty is that it is FREE and you can use it any way that works for you. Personally it's a lot easier for me to do it ALL right at the computer without the hassle of cutting, organizing, printing, or ordering photos and cropping, cleaning up, etc.

I am sure all of the Twi-hard fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the newest video snippett of Eclipse to be released. I know I have, and I am counting down to movie time. Woot!Woot!

Let me put a little honesty out there.. I read the books, I enjoyed the books and I am absolutely Team Edward. The Jacob in the book seemed to put me off a bit. However seeing the characters come to life on the big screen definitely had me thinking about Jacob. I know how the movies will end since I have read the books but Jacob was such wonderful eye candy in New Moon I just couldn't help having a little bit of hope for him.

Hiatus is Over!!

Well it seems that my blogging "Hiatus" has ended. I apologize for such a long absence, however after the difficulty with having my blog redesigned and my Husband being deployed I found it necessary to take time to myself. My craft has been neglected but I spent some much needed time with my family and reconnected.

 I am very disappointed that I paid for my blog to be redeisgned and in the end as you can see the person never finished the redesign because she became to overwhelmed and decided to give it up. However she never repaid me the money I paid her nor even if a semi complete design. Which is unfortunate for me and made me very angry that so many of my emails were never answered and I finally had to research her personal blog to find out that she had decided to stop designing blogs because it was too much for her and was no longer enjoyable. Anyways off of my little upset soap box now..

Looking forward to crafting again and posting more often. So super excited about everything!
