Christmas.. I know I did, but my Birthmas present has put my craft room into

disaster mode and I don't believe it will be clean anytime before the new year..

UGHHH.. I hate trying to create in a mess, well a mess that is messier and way more unorganized than ever before..

Second Guessing Myself

Hello Bloggers,

 For the past couple of days I find myself not only counting down until I have surgery but also questioning my decision to have surgery..

Am I choosing the right option for me, have I read up on everything, do I really know what it will be like after the surgery? Am I prepared enough, how prepared should I be? What should I be doing leading up to the surgery?

I have surgery in 28 days I start a liquid diet on 17 Jan, my last appointment before surgery is 1/12 which is also my last day of work until 23 Feb, though I hope to be recovered enough to go back to work sooner.

Earlier this month I celebrated my 34th birthday and for the past several years i have wanted surgery so bad I could taste, now that it is actually happening and I am so close I guess I am getting a bit nervous. There is nothing I want more than to be able to see myself this time next year in at least a size 12 from my current size 22/24..

I have chosen to have the VSG and I wish more VSG'ers would come to the meetings so that we could talk, I wish I could real one on one conversations with people who have already gone through what I am choosing to go through. I have been to the VSG boards and you know it is great to read their stories and experiences but there is nothing like seeing it in real life before your eyes..

The sentiment is stamped on a punch out from an EK Success punch

Christmas Tags

Wow! Can you believe how close to Christmas it is? I can not believe it is almost Christmas and that this year has almost finished..

Gingham Christmas

My price $16.20 (MSRP $18.00)

I used 2 different sized Kraft Tags

I then inked the sheet music from the set and randomly stamped on the cards

in TH Distress Ink Vintage Photo

I added the distressed ink to the edges of the tags

Small Tag:

I added some misc. beads

and a Tim Holtz Philosophy Tag

TH Game Spinner

I also added some paper HOTP Forever Christmas Cards Stack

stamped the sentiment and made a flag of it

Large Tag:

I used my nestabilites and a stamp set from The Simple Life Unity KOM (March 2009)

and then added a strip of paper from HOTP Forever Christmas Cards Stack

to finish the tag I added come Cappuccino Twine from The Twinery

The silver is Tim Holtz Adirondack Metallic Mixatives

I love how the red is so vibrant and that the little bird just pops in blue on the card.

Shellye- Papered Cottage created this wonderful tag/bookmark using the new giggles x3 stamp set

I love the colors and CAS look of this. Funny thing is when I saw this sentiment I wanted to make a bookmark with it.. LOL

Imagination Monday!

Welcome to Imagine-ation Monday, with My Cricut Craft Room

As part of the DT I created a fun little project that I intended to be a door hanger for a neighbor, however my kids liked it so much we put it on the tree. LOL

This was created with the Imagine, Imagine Cartridge Enjoy the Seasons and the Cricut Craft Room to manipulate the images so it would cut a window out of the pillow box for me..

I cut the acetate from some I had left over from my daughters school project.

The ribbon was scrap ribbon

the flower was made from paper torn from a book.
