Take Care!

Thanks Card

Hello Blurfers,

Today I used my Cricut Imagine and {ippity} stamps together, always such a fabulous combination. I don't know how many people are like me but I almost hate to cut out sentiments with my Cricut, I find it much easier to stamp them. What a better way then with {ippity} stamps? Love how they coordinate with the projects I am working on.

This card is a part of the POM Challenge....

Meet the Creative Team

Hi! I'm Amy Sotolongo from Southern California! I'm a junior high special education teacher by day and a creative soul by night. I love living a full life and making new memories. I also love scrapbooking them! My husband and I love to travel and enjoy crossing baseball parks off our list (our goal is to see each one!). I also love to bake and always have a new recipe ready to try. I am very excited to be creating for I Heart (ippity) and look forward to all this team is going to share.

Hi there! I'm Candace Pierce. I'm a Child of God, a Mississippi girl, a wife to Andrew, and an 8th grade English teacher. My joy for paper-crafting began in 2007 with scrapbooking, but about a year later I discovered stamping and card-making. Now, I never buy store-bought cards because I just love making someone smile with a handmade card. Paper-crafting has opened lots of doors for me, and I've met so many wonderful people because of it. I'm so thankful for the many opportunities I've had. When I'm not in my craft room, I love spending time with my family, shopping, baking, and making a feeble attempt at learning to cook. I am so excited to be on the first Creative Team for I Heart {ippity}! You can read more about me at my blog - www.candid-candace.blogspot.com.

My name is Jeannie DeGruccio. I am so excited to be part of the” i heart ippity” team. To tell you a little about me, I am a mom, I have 7 kids, ranging from 19 down to 3 years. My hubby and I have survived, so far through 22 years of marriage. I have been Scapbooking/Stamping /Paper Crafting through it all. I started crafting as a young mom to decorate my home on a very tight budget. From there I got into scrapbooking and card making and moved onto various forms of art and crafting as the trends changed. Today I have about 20 years of crafting experience. I started stamping in the early 90’s and laugh now at what I thought were great handmade cards. I love most all stamps and when I saw the ippity sets, I knew I wanted to work with them. I can’t wait to start showing you some fun things to do with your stamps.

If I had to describe my style, I would say that I am a whimsical paper crafter. I love bold, bright, cheery and cutesey type things. I can DO any style, but I do default to my whimsical style when I am given no boundaries. I am in love with crafts of all forms. Paper is my passion, my therapy. Cards, scrapping, home decor? I love it all. I have never met a piece of paper I can't tame! I love to help people realize their own design potential and love to share shortcuts, hints and doable ways for people to do what I do. I do not feel I have more talent than the person standing next to me, I just feel like I am not afraid to try new things and techniques. Now, I say enough talking, let’s get stamping! Agree??

Hello, my name is Shellye McDaniel and I'm glad to be a part of the team!  I live in NE Texas with my husband of 20 years and our three kids: two boys ages 17 and 13 and my baby girl, age 9.  I have been a nurse for 18 years and currently work part-time in Labor & Delivery.

I've pretty much been known as a 'crafty' person my whole life...I love making stuff!  When I discovered scrapbooking in 1997, I knew it was for me.  Since then, I've expanded my love of paper into card-making, stamping, alter-art projects and more.  My style may range from clean and conformed to shabby and distressed...I like it all.
I look forward to spending time and sharing with all of you!

Hi y’all! I’m Mary and I am delighted to be here! You can find me nestled in the heart of Eastern Kentucky
diving my time between my family, church, scrapbook room, homework, oh, and work! On any given day,
you will find me doing any combination of those activities, and on some days, all of them, but I wouldn’t
have it any other way! I am truly blessed. I love to share my love of paper-crafting and hope you enjoy
what you see! God Bless!

Impatient Crafter

That's me Heather the Impatient Crafter.. I think this will be my  "NEW" title.. LOl
Seriously, I thought about NOT sharing this..but you know I had to share it!

So after seeing a FAB project on the Circle Blog I thought I'd give it a whirl..
Well I don't follow paint can directions well, and I could not recall exactly how the tutorial went...
but apparently I sprayed too much Frosted paint spray over my vinyl letters as
they started to scrunch up and lose their shape..
ughhh .. I mean really, come on work with me..
ha ha

So I just had to share what an impatient crafting moment looks like...
I will have to re-attempt this and not be so impatient!

Fathers Day Coupons

Good Morning Bloggers,

Today I have a quick and easy craft for kids to do using just a few items..
What you need:
Stamp
Ink
Scissors
Paper Punch
Glitter Pen/Marker etc
Paper
String
Cello bag

My daughters have always enjoyed giving their Dad coupons on Fathers Day, their favorite part? When Dad redeems them of course.

Using the {ippity} set Authentic Man

I randomly stamped on Kraft Cardstock in Black in the Car image. I then used my Marvy Uchida Super Punch and punched out the cards. My daughters wrote their coupon for Dad, car wash, hug, foot rub etc..  When then used the banner from {ippity} The Best set and the You're #1 stamp, punched it and tied it to the bag. We added a little bling by coloring with a Sakura Tiara Blue glitter pen.

IPK-132 $16.20

IPK-150 The Best $21.60

Creative Pointe- Mexican Fiesta Set

Above is a file offered from The Creative Pointe, she has such wonderful files!
Below is what I did with that file!
I personally like lemons not limes! ha ha! I also cut the lemon wedge to kind of sit on the glass
like I think it should have.. Also I added glitter to give it a sugar or salt look depending on what you like.. Of course I am a SALT girl ... so to me it looks like salt..
