This is Sherri, and I have a fun card to share with you today-

PERFECT for sharing a bit of sarcasm with your BFF. :)

 

 

I combined a cheeky sentiment from {ippity}'s Preggo-Good Luck with that adorable paper doll from Unity's Sweet Paper Pals.  I stamped the image using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. 

Fun washi tapes from K & Co. and a modern color scheme make this card one of my recent favorites!

  Good Morning Everyone! I am so happy to share my first Project as a Pinque Peacock with all of you. I love Pinque Peacock Products and know that you will also!

  
  

  I created these 2 tags using a few techniques I always wondered about.

  I found this Adironback daubers on sale at Micahels for 4.99 so I decided to try it.

  I pulle dout a Tim Hotz embossing folder, daubed it with the green dauber and then I placed my Tag inside and closed it, I pressed down on the embossing folder with a wooden stamp. I didn't want to emboss the design on the tag just have it painted on.

  I used Tattered Angels Mists in Green & Purple and then added some Green Bling 

  a rainbow ribbon and a sentiment from a $1 stamp at Joanns and misted that tag with Tattered Angels Green.

  
  

  The first Tag I used some FABULOUS Pinque Peacock Products, and a $1 stamp as well as Tattered Angels Mist a doily and the Adironback Daubers..

Michaels Craft Haul

So the wonderful ladies on Facebook posted about some FABULOUS deals at Michael's Craft Store...

Silhouette Cameo is suppose to be ringing up at $149 if you can find a store that still has one.. (I called 5 locations with no luck)

Then there are just regular super super deals of items on sale!! Have you been to your local Michaels lately?

I hope all of you had a FAB Valentine's Day.. My time in California is winding down, today we visited my High School haunts and had some of the most FAB Taquitos and fresh made salsa YUMMY!

The bad thing is, I am getting a cold and hoping that it cures itself before my flight on the 19th. I would hate to fly with runny/stuff sniffling nose. etc..

FAQ
Q: Are these prices marked with signs in the Store?
A: No.. I went to 2 different Michael's Stores the first store said she couldn't sell it to me for .01 and just gave it to me, the 2nd store sold it to me for .01 but asked if there was more (which I'm pretty sure I grabbed them all) because if there were any left she would remove them from the sales floor. They would then end up in the trash bin most likely.

From what I have gathered from others posting about these deals, lets say you have one item in our cart but there are 10 others on the shelf.. When you check out it rings up for .01 you can get that item for a .01 but you can not go back to the aisle and grab the rest.

OR
I have heard that the Associates deny the sale altogether

OR
 they say they can not sell it to you for .01 so the put the price at about .49 instead

Make the Most of It Monday

Good Monday morning!  Sherri here, with a cheery card to brighten your week AND stretch your scrappy budget! 

 

If you are anything like me, you have a weakness for stamps...and ink...and paper...and cute little embellies...you get the point.  All of these lovelies can get costly, so I am always happy to find a way to get "the look" of a new product without actually having to buy more.

 

I love Amy Tangerine products-like these super cute stickers from her Sketchbook collection:

 

I couldn't help but notice that the flower sticker in the upper right looked SO much like one of the flowers from {ippity}'s Now & Always stamp set.  I decided to make my own, using my {ippity} stamps and some colorful chalk.

Pretty close, huh?  I also created my own sentiment using words from All Things are Possible and Fall for You.

Valentines Day Love

Good afternoon Stampers!! Sorry for the late post, I was up until 2 am catching up with a girlfriend I have known since the 6th grade.. It was so great spending time with her and her family..

Since I am on Vacation until 19 Feb I thought I would make Valentines Day cards for my husband and 2 daughters. Yesterday you saw my husbands Valentines card..

First let me say I love Unity Stamps I have for several years, while I lived in Japan I was a Kit of the Month Member and canceled my membership before moving back stateside. I renewed my KOM membership in December and love love love the images on the January Kit!

You Tug My Heart Strings

Good Morning Stampers! It's a cold and foggy morning here in Central California where I'm on vacation visiting family.. I was able to get some craft time in and even involved my Great Niece Ella in the picture taking..
