Peacock Composition Book

Good Morning Crafters! It feels good to be back in my Craft Room creating after a 6 day Vegas Trip and then the EXCITING News that my husband was promoted to Master Chief! My house has been just busy busy busy.. Finally it all calms down and it's my turn to post as DT Member for the Pinque Peacock!



 Jessica makes such FABULOUS items to craft with I am so happy to be a part of her Team and use her FABULOUS creations!



On to the project I created for today..

What I did was alter a composition book to hold my ideas for my DT Projects and due dates.

Paper is from Heidi Swapp,  Flower & Stick Pins are Pinque Peacock product created by Ms. Jessica..

This was a super fun and easy project to create, we always have a ton of Composition books in our house as the school lists always ask for more than what my girls actually use. I will have to share with you later how I alter the inside and back page {i'm still working on ideas} ..

I also Used Tim Holtz Clear Crackle on the Dark Blue Patterned Paper
Distressed the Edges crumpled it up

Unity FWF & a Challenge

I found this Pencil pouch at the Dollar Store and knew I could do something to it

I used Felt Poppers from Pinque Peacock and then used Staz on Ink to stamp the images

onto the pencil pouch.

My youngest daughter promptly took this from me this morning as soon as I showed her what I had created.. She had been asking for a bag she is going to use it for her makeup.. LOL <3 that girl!

It has been 6 YEARS since I started Blogging!!

WOOHOO!!

There have been lulls, and initially this was NOT a Crafting Blog is

what a Blog geared towards keeping my family stateside apprised of how we were doing and what we were doing while we lived in Japan.

Now my husband is getting ready to move to Virginia Beach for 3 years while we (the Girls & I ) stay put in Florida.. We will miss him and this will be the FIRST time since we were Married that we have lived apart for more than a few months (NOT Counting Deployments).. Big changes happening in OUR family..

Ok Back to the Blogoversary, it was ACTUALLY yesterday.. Be on the lookout on Monday for a post regarding the Giveaway I will have to Celebrate!! There will be lots of Crafty items!!
