September Blog Hop Creatively Redeeming Treasures

Welcome to the Creatively Redeeming Treasures Team Blog Hop.. This month our Team is focusing on the Sarita Paper Pack, and sharing with you all of our wonderful creations with you to help inspire you and your creations!

You should have arrived here from Helen's Blog if not please start at the beginning with our WONDERFUL Team Leader Elizabeth HERE.. If you did arrive from  then you are in the right place, so WELCOME!

I was able to complete 20 cards with 2 B&T Sarita Papers 1 Slate  piece of Cardstock and 1 White Daisy piece of Cardstock that I cut all of my Cricut stamp compatible images from, how amazing is that? (I had extra pieces left over probably could have made 2-4 more cards)

The main colors I focused on were Honey, Slate, and Pacifica Blue in CTMH Exclusive Inks.. I really like how the Honey looks with the Sarita Papers..

I used multiple stamp sets and also some shimmer ribbon as well as retired CTMH Ribbon, 3m Foam adhesive and Tombow Mono Adhesive.. I also used spray paint, yes chrome colored spray paint, as well as some Heidi Swapp Color Shine spray..

It took me 3 days to complete the task not because it was particularly hard but because I was FORCING myself to create it.. Day 1 I cut all pieces layered them for mock ups and then was struck with zero inspiration..

Day 2 re-examined card mock layouts, re arranged some pieces and started looking at my Stamp Stash (130 stamp sets) and trying to see where I wanted to go with this.. Then life happened and I couldn't get back to crafting on Day 2.

Day 3 Venti cup of coffee from Starbucks for Free courtesy of their rewards program.. I was fueled slept well and ready to create, alas I received notice that I had finally been issued a license number for my NEW job at an Insurance Agency.. Played catch up with Facebook then went to the office to turn in my New Hire Paper Work and 2 hours later come home..

Anywho finally at midnight I was able to get back to crafting and it took me several hours because making 20+ cards is hard work especially if you keep changing stuff around.. haha

Celebration Time

3 Girl JAM

Good Morning Crafters! Today I am a Guest Designer over at 3 Girl Jam.
The theme is Celebration so I have a few celebratory ideas to share with all of you.

The first project today is a Cotton Muslin Bag from 3Girl Jam measuring 3.25x5
I have stamped the Bag using Close to My Heart Exclusive Inks in Honey and
the sentiment from the National Stamping Month Campaign Stamp from Close to My Heart

The Crinkle Ribbon is from the Seasons Bundle

This is a perfect gift bag for a set of car keys for a 16th birthday, my daughter received a New Used car for her Birthday... or candy, jewelry, handmade soap etc.. it is a great sized bag..

My next project was created using these little Treat Boxes from Target there are 3 boxes for a dollar ($1.00) great deal! I cut some Close to My Heart Black Card Stock, 3.5 x 2.75 White Daisy Cardstock 3.25 x2.5 I tied some Tuxedo Crinkle Ribbon to the White Cardstock and stamped the sentiment using Black Ink. I then stamped the Rabbit and Porcupine/Hedgehog (you decide which it is, besides totally adorable) and the Rabbit on White Cardstock colored them with Tim Holtz distress Markers then cut them out and added them to the front of the gift box.

I used Tuxedo Crinkle Ribbon to this box filled with Hersheys Choocolate filled with Caramel, I am bringing this to my New Job for my desk.

Stamps used are from the National Stamp Month Campaign by Close to My Heart

My Last Project is a little Gift Bag I created for a Hostess, inside the little bag is a Close to My Heart
Petite Perks Stamp set. Using Close to My Heart Sarita Paper Pack, I cut a 4x5 square from this paper pack and adhered it to the front of the bag.
I then cut a piece of White Daisy Cardstock at 3.5x4.5 and stamped the sentiment in Black and the sun in Honey..
This double bow was created using the 3GirlJam BowMaker I love the Bow Maker! It helps create the small bows, large bows, double, triple loop bows etc.. It makes it a much easier process

The Crinkle Ribbon is from the Seasons Bundle

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget that the 3 Girl JAM 2 year celebration is still going on and that there is still time to enter your project in the Celebrations challenge over at the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.
