Happy Birthday to You

Today is my daughter Caitlins' 10th Birthday.. Although she is waiting to have a Birthday Party so her Daddy can be home. (he is currently deployed).. We bought some ice cream, Cookie Dough flavored and some candles.. We (her sister and I) sang Happy Birthday to her while the cnadles dripped wax into her yummy ice cream, she did not mind.

No presents today either..I know bummer for her but I did take her shopping for school clothes and at 10 years old she has her style and personality and Mom just does not get it.. After 1.5-2 hours of shopping i was ready to come home and have ice cream it was so HOT and HUMID today...ughhgh

She was happy though ad that is all that matters, we did stop and rent Race to Witch Mountain and I bought her a copy of a Magazine that had only information about the movie New Moon and Robert P.
