Mom - The Creative Pointe

I am honored to be a Premier Member of The Creative Pointe Creative Team for Diecut Designer, thank you Cindy for inviting me in. This is my first post as part of the Creative Team.    


 Dies Cut Designer is a site dedicated to SVG files, Cindy at Creative Pointe has created some really fantastic files so be sure to check her Blog, she is very generous with her files and has some wonderful freebies up on her blog currently. Also be sure to check out the store Die Cut Designer.


She shared this wonderful file with me, and as I looked at it all I could think of was when I was a kid making valentines and or Mothers Day cards for my mom.. I loved to use hearts and doilies and cut designs into the hearts.

With that in my mind I created this Mothers Day card which to me looks very much like a Valentine Card, which just shows how versatile this can be.

The word mom was cut from the same color CS so I used Glossy Accents to give it some pop

I then stickler the cut outs 

and used lacy ribbon to give the vintage-y feel I was looking for

There is another heart glued onto the back sandwiching the ribbon
