Using your Scraps!

So today I decided to use up some of my many scraps in my scrap drawer.. I save the oddest shaped, or amount of left over paper/stamped images etc..

This long little card was all made with scraps. The Kraft Cardstock was left over from the Cuppy Cake Banner card I made earlier this week.

Would you believe that the flowers are actually stamped from the Flowers+Friends=Priceless stamp set?

What I did is stamp the Image in Black on Kraft Cardstock, and then on Patterned Paper
I then took my scissors and began cutting around on the lines of the stamps in a circular/spiral direction
I then rolled the now stamped and cut image back up into the flower shape it is and generously applied glossy accents to secure it to the card
I then stamped the Leaves on green Cardstock
Stamped the sentiment
to give the card a finished look I faux stitched the top with a white gel pen

I am thinking of using this as a Gift Tag, I just found out some ladies I know from Japan live 3 miles form my house.. WOW! small world!  So I will probably attach it to a gift bag for a housewarming gift for one of them.

Stamp Set Used: Flowers+Friends=Priceless $16.20
