New Day New Challenges

Hello Bloggers! Well today I did my Health Fitness Assessment, I was a bit nervous.... So I arrive t the Wellness Center fill out my paperwork then I put my bathing suit on... She checks my vitals as me to take my clothes off that I put on over my bathing suit, because you had to wear a tight fitted bathing suit not one with a skirt or dress like..
So I do that and hop in the bod pod and just as the first round is finished there is a fire drill.. They said it was a REAL fire, LOL.. So I hurriedly threw my yoga pants and shirt back on and grabbed my back pack but I walked out of the building without shoes and socks and with a swim cap on... Thankfully it wasn't in the bathing suit, right, how horrifying would that be?
 All I could think about was people would be blinded by the whiteness of my body and disgusted at the out of shapeless (besides round) of it..

So we get the all clear and I have to repeat the test, then it is a tech error and I have to repeat it again.. My oh my!
LOL

The ladies were super nice though.. So I went to work later today and found out they have scheduled me during my ship shape classes I told them I would work the assigned time this monday but the needed to change the schedule for next monday, so it pushes me back a week for scheduling my psych evaluation which I am disappointed about but what can you do?

Test Results: From the Bod Pod
118.2 lbs of my is fat which gives me a percentage of 51.1% (something like that) of body fat
I can go to a class to learn what this means, but I don't really care. I know what it means, I am out of shape high risk for everything and need to take better care of myself.

I have started eating more whole grains, smaller portions and trying to ensure I get in my 8 glasses of water. I have been using the techniques, chew at least 15 times, place your fork/utensil/hamburger etc down between every bite.. The only thing I still need to work on is not drinking with my meal and or waiting 30mins before and after the meal before I I drink. This is going to be a lot harder to do..

The scale at the Wellness center said 237lbs 2 weeks ago when I went in for the Ship Shape class. Today for the assessment it said 229.4 lbs.. Wahoo it is finally moving in the lower direction, so I must be doing something right. NO McDonalds 1 soda a day or less more veggies, lean meats and more fruits..

My next step is adding more exercise into my life.
