NSV (non scale Victory) I just want to share this with all of you... As an overweight woman I was very reserved and turtle shelled (lol yes I said turtle shelled) ... I wouldn't approach people unless it was my job, if I was at an event with my Husband for his command I would hold up a wall, warm a bench, support a tree whatever I could to not have attention on me I was not open people tended to not approach me because of the way I felt about myself and what I projected.. As a Post Op sleeve who has lost about 70 pounds who has gone from a size 24 to a 14 I feel more accepted, more open and more exposed.. I am the type of person who will initiate a conversation with someone now I am someone who will say is this seat taken and sit by strangers.. This is my NSV!! I like the person I am becoming I would say that I have become but I am still changing everyday, even when I have struggles I am growing learning and changing and thankful, very thankful that I have had the surgery and am becoming the person I have always wanted to be but let my weight and insecurities stop me from being.. So thank you sleeve and everyone who read this.. I hope you all have such wonderful life altering NSV's because it isn't all about the clothing size but also the person inside the clothes ♥
