Yeah yeah Yeah! So I finally got a GREEn light in the form of getting in contact with the RN..
Things to Do:
1. Schedule a Pap Smear
2. Fasting Blood Work
3. Enroll in the Ship Shape WLS Exercise Program --it's not an exercise program more of a weight watchers program
4. Attend the WLS Group Meeting monthly
5. 9/27 start active file for WLS by appointment with the RN
to discuss all steps.. etc etc..
By February I hope to have a Surgery Date.... Come August I hope to be a thinner me..
One of my BFF's is going through the same thing, she is a couple months ahead of me and we have been planning a Summer Cruise for a year..By August 2012 we will be thinner gals enjoying a Cruise! I am so looking forward to it..
It has been difficult and embarrassing being a larger person.. Not fitting in the airplane seats, thankfully the arms between seats go up and my youngest DD is a skinny mini, so I am able to get the extra room needed for my rump..
The ability to walk up the stairs, to not sweat just walking at a slow pace around the block, to feel healthier to not get winded while playing in the pool with my kids...not being embarrassed to be in my own pool in my own backyard when company is there because of my back fat/boobs..
