Fall In Love...

...with fall! I know I certainly have after using the super cute 'Fall For You' {ippity} stamp set. It's a great stamp set perfect for any fall card.

For my fall-themed card I created for today's guest designer post, I used the 'fall in love' stamps as well as the little birdies.

The papers are from the Recollections 'All Seasons' stack and the leaf at the bottom is a Cuttlebug die cut. The scalloped shapes were cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge and I added orange rhinestones around the adhesive, along with the three orange brads up at the top. I was really happy with the way it turned out since I had a hard time coming up with the design - I hate when that happens.

Thanks so much for reading!

Thinking of you but, It's not Wednesday, I know!

Hello Everyone, It's me Wednesday's Child on a Thursday.  Yesterday was the new release BLOG HOP, so I am posting today instead.
I made up a pretty card to say farewell to a retiring co-worker.

I am using the set called Flowers + Friends = Priceless.

As many times as I have used this set, I never tire of it.

I couldn't find an "I miss you" sentiment quickly enough, so I used some mini type letters.

\

Hopefully there is enough room for lots of people to sign their names.

My papers are from a past Deena Ziegler card kit. I love grabbing my kits when I am in a hurry.  I always use my own design but at least the guess work of the colors and paper matching is done and I get to focus on the design of the card instead!

I hope I have WOW'd you even if it is Thursday!  This has been Jeannie posting for I Heart {ippity}, have a great day!

Halloween Treats -EASY Project

After seeing Shellye over at The Papered Cottage create some FABULOUS
Candy bar holders, I thought I would give it a try...

Granted MY Craft Room is a DISASTER right now and is in DESPERATE need of organization I was able to whip these up pretty quickly.

I took this Toil & Trouble Paper from Making Memories
and cut it into 3x12
I scored one of these at 4.5 and one at 5.25
The Orange one with Boo is stitched using my Sew Easy tool
My Polka Dot one I used the Sew Easy tool to create the holes then
faux stitched with a Black Micron Pen

The Pumpkin, Boo, and Button is from My Minds Eye
The Green & Black Twine is from Trendy Twine
The sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design Ghostly Greetings stamp set

I also used the corner rounder on the Orange polka Dot & Striped Candy Bar

These are super easy, quick & Fun to make...

Enjoy your Monday!

Monday Linky Party

Hey, everyone!  Sherri here.  It's back to school for me today!  My students won't join me until next Tuesday, but I have workshops all this week.  Time to pack away my summer vacation brain and get my teacher brain working again!

My favorite things about going back to school are the fun, new school supplies.  Remember the movie You've Got Mail with Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks?  One of my favorite lines in the movie is when he writes that he would bring her a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils.  Aww...melt my heart!

While I can't give each of you a pencil bouquet, I can give you a little back to school inspiration!  Check out the "doodled" notebook paper on this card:

My card base is cork patterned paper from Crate Paper's Storyteller Collection, and the faux notebook paper is patterned paper from Momenta, punched with a notebook border punch from EK Success.  I then stamped "doodles" using some cute {ippity} stamps.  Notice the flourish doodles?  They are actually the tail feathers of the bird image from Music of My Heart!  Other sets that I used were Just Wanted to Say, How YOU Doin', and Loads of Love.

Hope you will join this week's Linky Party over on the {ippity} blog!  I am linking this project up to that, as well as the current Chick Challenge.  I tweaked the sketch slightly by putting my sentiment on the main image instead of at the bottom of the card.  :)

Super Sunday Cards

Good Afternoon {ippity} lovers! How are you all doin' today? I'm doing well... just a little sad that today is my last day as a Guest Designer with I Heart {ippity}. :( I have enjoyed sharing my work with you all and working with these awesome ladies immensely!! I can't tell you how exciting it has been! And I love {ippity} even more because of it!

Today is my last Super Sunday with you, but I have a couple of cards to share that I made using the {ippity} IPK-143 How YOU Doin' set. I missed last Sunday posting due to it being the first week of school and total chaos, so I thought I would double up on the cards today for you!

This is definitely my favorite set to work with. It covers so many types of cards you can make with the one set. :)

This first card I made using the "friends" stamp along with some scraps from an old Studio Calico kit. Actually, I think the scraps consisted of SEVERAL kits.

It was simple to make. I think the hardest part was trimming the excess strips off without cutting into the base of my card. I tend to get overzealous with my scissors and paper cutter!

This second card was made using the same scraps, but fewer of them. I also used a canvas banner by Pink Paislee behind the papers. The "hello" stamp from the set was used for this card.

Thanks so much for having a look at my work today. Also thank you for having me as a Guest Designer for this awesome blog. Everyone here is wonderful and super talented!! I am so grateful that I had this opportunity.

You can always keep up with me on my personal blog... I'd love to have you all stop in!

Enjoy the rest of your Super Sunday!!

A layout from Gerry

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Today I have a layout to share with you that I created
using two I Heart {ippity} stamp sets....
I made my embellishments to decorate the photo
by stamping hearts on pattern paper and
then cutting them out....
I used here the cute stamp set

I first stamped the pretty flower on the background.
Then I stamped once again only the flower
on pattern paper and cut it out.

The word "sweet" was stamped from the stamp
"sweet love". I only added ink on the word
"sweet" and then I stamped....
I also used both stamp sets to decorate the edges of the card stock.

Hope you enjoyed my project today!
Happy Stamping :-)
