A Masculine Birthday

Happy Saturday! I hope you all are having a great start to your weekend. Ashley here from Made Especially For You to share with you another guest designer post.

Earlier this week was my dad's birthday, and you know what that calls for, a birthday card! Masculine birthday cards (or any masculine cards, for that matter) are definitely a huge challenge for me. Luckily, with the help of the 'Fall For You' {ippity} stamp set, I was able to come up with a card my dad loved.

The papers I used on this card are all from The Paper Studio, (a Hobby Lobby paper line) I hardly had any masculine papers in my stash and ran out to grab a few before making this card. I knew they were perfect when I saw the names of the papers were "Masculine Polka Dots," "Masculine Stripes," and "Masculine Stars."

The 'happy birthday' stamps were used from the Fall For You set on the star on the front of the card. I distressed the star to match the distressed paper. Here's a complete list of items used to make the card:

- The Paper Studio Papers + dark red and navy blue card stock
- Cricut machine
- Stretch Your Imagination cartridge (balloon) and Artiste cartridge (star)
- I Heart {ippity} Fall For You stamp set with black ink
- Tim Holtz distress ink in 'Tuxedo Black'

Thanks so much for reading!
Ashley
