Monday Linky Party

Good Monday morning, {ippity} friends!  This is Sherri, ready to share a cute little card with you.  One thing that makes me smile, even on Monday mornings, is seeing pretty pictures come up in my blog feed.  How about an adorable little birdie and sweet candy shop colors to start the week? 

This little bird is about as cute as they come!  She is from {ippity}'s "Your Friendship-My Cup of Tea" stamp set.  She looks fabulous when colored with Copics!  I simply stamped her on white cardstock, colored, then trimmed just outside the outline.  She is adhered with foam tape, as is the sentiment.

This ruffle was super easy to make from printed tissue paper.  I used two different widths to create a layered look.  It's a great way to add dimension without too much bulk.  I think it adds just the right amount of whimsy. After all, this looks like one playful little chick! :)
