Monday Linky Party

Happy Monday!  This is Sherri, and I am so happy to be sharing my first post as a new member of the I Heart {ippity} team.  Hopefully I can make your Mondays a little less, well, Monday-ish. ;)

I am sharing two cards with you today.  I wanted to emphasize just how versatile your {ippity} stamps can be.  Sometimes when you buy a stamp set, you know exactly what you will make for your first project.  After that first project, however, it's often hard to come up with a totally different design.  The two cards that I'm sharing today use {ippity}'s "Be Brave Branch Out".

I chose to use just a sentiment from the set on this first card.  This sentiment is so sweet-it would be the perfect addition to just about any card!  I added some trendy woodgrain butterfly stickers to my handmade tag and created a fun background from kit scraps.

My second card uses two other stamps from the same set: the branch and a different sentiment.  Think "outside the box" with your stamp images.  Not every image needs to be stamped on white cardstock and colored.  The details of this image really pop on the ledger paper, and the brighter accents frame the image perfectly.

I hope you will take a second look at your stamps and see how you can "stretch" your sets to make totally different designs.  Then, hop over and link up your project at this week's Monday Linky Party!
