Monday Linky Party

Happy Monday, everyone!  You know, Mondays have never been my favorite days, but I'm starting to like them-sharing my projects with you is such a fun way to start my week!  This week, I'm sharing three projects that will help you stretch your stamp sets by using them in unexpected ways.  For each of these cards, I used a photo corner stamp from {ippity}'s Fall for You stamp set.  Obviously, it can be a photo corner on a layout, but check out these other fun ways that you can use it:

Make a Pinwheel: Cut out 8 photo corners, then arrange them to make a pinwheel!  I popped my yellow pieces up with foam tape to add some dimension.  I created the stick from the key image in Music of my Heart, but you could easily hand-cut one from cardstock.  I stamped "enjoy" from How YOU Doin' repeatedly across the kraft strip.

Create a Banner: Cut out several photo corners from patterned paper, then cut each photo corner in half. Ink the "cut" side so that you have a mini version of the original stamp.  Use these pieces to create banners for your card.  I added another little sentiment from How YOU Doin'.

Create a Trendy Background: Chevrons are SO popular right now!  After seeing what Jemma did in THIS tutorial, I knew that I wanted to try a chevron background with my photo corner stamp.  Hint: adhering the stamped pieces to a black cardstock base helps to hide any imperfect cuts.  The envies and sentiment are also from the How YOU Doin' set.

I'd love to see how you use your stamps in creative ways!  Today is the Linky Party over on the {ippity} blog-link up your creations!  Anything goes, as long as it's {ippity}!
