Protein Powder overload!!

What Protein Powder is the best for WLS ? I had a GNC rep tell me all kinds of things, mostly things I did NOT agree with!! LOL so I am lost on the protein aspect and wondering what should I buy? I have surgery in 2 weeks! Help!
