"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." --Steve Jobs
Doing what makes you happy, it's something I've been thinking about a lot lately. What do I love to do? and how do I do more of that in 2012?
One thing I do love to do is stamping, and being on this creative team allows me to create regularly.
Today I have a fun card for you:
I used this stamp set:
Ek Success came out with these super cool punches a while back and they allow you to punch out a line of petals, roll them up, pull back the petals and then viola! you have a flower. While I love to use the punch that way, I wanted to try it as a ruffle, punch it out, add some bend to the petals and then make rows and rows of them. It worked!
I added the rows across the bottom 1/2 of the card, and then added my stamped "Do What You Love" stamp to some white cardstock, trimmed it up and added it with some ribbon and bakers twine.
I hope you are doing what you makes you happy today!
Happy Happy Tuesday!
and if you missed Heather's post on Sunday, be sure to go check it out, the new release of stamps are sooooo cute!!
