Summer Card....

The countdown to summer is on around here....
I'm a teacher, and this is the time of year when everyone has a countdown. Today? it's 17 school days.
My 8th graders already think they are freshman, my 7th graders are tired and ready for summer, and the teachers are ready for some rest.
I have a lovely aide that I call my other brain, she can read my mind and I'm very blessed to have her help me every day.
To thank her I always make her a card and buy her a nice gift at the end of every year.
This year, I chose the summer theme, because summer is right around the corner.
Here's a few views of this card:

I used the PB&J line from Basic Grey and some kraft cardstock as the base.
I cut the tag and sun on my Silhouette Cameo.
I used the "You are Fabulous" Ippity set to add a nice sentiment to the card.
The sun is pop dotted for dimension.
I hope this inspires you to pull out your stamps and make some summer cards.
