I have been working furiously trying to get this project done and VOILA finally I got it done!
Do you ever have an idea that you think, "Wow, that will be cute, fast and EASY!"
But..then it seems to take forever to get it done?
That is what happened to me this week.
I wanted to take this little candy box, it measures about 3 1/2" by 2 1/2", and turn it into a card box with little cards inside. Easy, fast and cute, right?
Honestly trying to cover that little box with the lunch bag about did me in! It could be my pain killers? (Have been suffering with back problems) Who knows???
Here is the final product.
I am using our brand new set called Your Friendship, My Cup of Tea.
The box has this removable band...
..here we are, band removed...
...top of box...Isn't that be the CUTEST???
Here we are opening the tiny box...
..to reveal...
...the stack of cards inside. The cards are secured by another removable band.
Here the band is undone and you see the stack of cards.
I made these cards based on this wonderful talk geared towards today's youth.
It is all about VALUES and the talk has been lovingly coined "THE 6 B's" I have linked to it if you need some good advice for today's young'uns.
There are 6 card each representing the different values.
Each card has it's own cute bee! I used stickers and die cuts to save time.
Here is a close up of the top of the box.
I tried to recreate the bow I had in the first picture with no luck!
But it looks cute with a square knot too!
Well, since I will be the Wednesday Wowzer girl..I sure hope I have WOWED you today!
Anyone want a chance to win this cute little set??
Leave a comment here on the I HEART IPPITY blog AND my BLOG POST and I will randomly announce a winner from any who leave a comment on BOTH blogs.
